Lifeline supports people struggling with their mental health.
What can a comedy night at Geelong Arts Centre do to help? It can boost positivity with a room full of laughs and raise funds to help the Lifeline regional call centres.
The night will feature great comedians including Danny McGinlay, Zack Dyer, Sarah Maree Cameron, Luke Morris, and guests Tor Snyder (Canada) and Tony Martin (Sizzletown, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Bad Eggs).
It'll be a special night to attend for a worthy cause.

Popcorn and Punchlines is a laid-back night of stand-up at Bendigo Cinemas, featuring a mix of local favourites, rising talent, and voices from further afield.
No bells and whistles, just a night where comedians do what they do best: make you laugh.
Whether you’re heading out with friends or just looking for something different with a good vibe, this is one to check out.
It’s grown-up comedy, so bring the banter, not the kids.
At just $20 a ticket, it’s a low-stakes, high-reward kind of night.

After an absence I'm getting back into more comedy writing with some dedicated writing time.
This is a meet-up for those who also would like to set aside an hour and write.
It's not a tutored class, and not an open mic gig.
It is a chance to focus on putting words on paper, or text in a screen, and formulate ideas while others do the same.
If you want to chinwag about the writing, there's space to do that too.
But the focus is for some quite beer... I mean quite writing.
So come for that.
